Continuing the conversation
As policymakers, politicians and business leaders plan for the UK energy future, all potential clean solutions should be considered. It is clear there is no one perfect, catch-all answer to a secure energy transition. But nuclear, as we have shown, is an essential component if we want an affordable, reliable net zero future.

We are:
working with regions to help assess their energy needs and build up a fuller picture of how nuclear technologies – especially the next generation of reactors – could play their part
engaging with end users in industry to ensure the feasibility of new nuclear as a direct solution for their energy needs
continuing to collaborate with others across the energy system to secure an integrated approach to policy, research and development
helping to better explain what nuclear can deliver to the wider public, through community outreach and education.
